Default Blue prints for Building chutes

I was wondering if someone had some blueprints or measurements for building a set of chutes. Ive priced lots of used sets and i think the best would be to build a new set myself in our shop. If anyone has any input I would much appreciate it.

Default chutes

You might want to talk to Rick Seigel. I'm not sure if he still builds them but he definatley has blue prints for a good set of buckin chutes.

Chris
heres 3 links that have plans for just about anything you can imagine. Some of them might give you some ideals on how to start.

I BUILT MINE, NOTHING FANCY. I JUST WENT AND TOOK THE INSIDE MEASUREMENTS FROM A SET OF POWDER RIVER. IT MIGHT BE HARD TO BUILD THEM THAT CHEAP IF YOU DONT HAVE THE METAL. SMALL AMOUNTS ARE SO HIGH. I WILL LOOK ON THE BUCKINGBULLCONNECTION AND SEE IF I CAN FIND THE MAN THAT BUILDS THEM REAL REASONABLE. HS

Go to either Red river's site or Two W's site and they will give you measurements.

Good attitude... I was short of money, did mine when money and time showed up. I built a set of three left. My frames were from 2 3/8 in pipe. I made them modgelur so I could take them apart. Then I made gates to fit, and on the back built it the same as a gate but bolted it to the frame. It has worked for me. My hardwst enjineering was to design slide gates that pulled into the arena not to the back. Simply beacause myself and helpers were in the areana , not behind the chutes. Keep us informed. HS

Thats the only thing we are having trouble with building a slide rail that is heaviest enough to stand up to a bull romping back and fourth against it. How did you design your slide?
