Avalanche Calf

I just couldn't resist posting this pic. These embryo calves were due almost 2 weeks ago, they finally came yesterday.

This little bull calf is sired by Avalanche, his dam is a Playboy daughter out of a flush sister to Kamo Kat.

There were no cigars but if you were around yesterday you could have enjoyed a celebratory cocktail.

What a relief to finally get a few embryo calves, we have had a lot of success flushing but this is the first year we got any embryos to stick.

This guy also popped out of a recip cow yesterday. No ear or color to speak of but the embryos were put in on the same day so we will have to run the blood and see if he matches the one above.
