Just wondering how many on the board go to SEBRA events?

We are still more into the riding end (well hubby is I just tape!) of the industry. Probably mostly because we don't actually own any bulls yet...:D

That brings up another question...how many on the board ride bulls?

Just trying to get more action on the board lol.

well I don't get to go to events since we live here in California but I do send bulls to SEBRA events in partnership with Jerome Davis.

Thanks for the replies!

We hit a SEBRA event in Monroeville IN last weekend put on by Hat Creek Ranch and Rodeo. My husband didn't cover, but got pulled back to the short go and got on Arctic Cat, that bull isn't slowing down fast! Jason made it to about 5 seconds, and the guys he rides with were impressed with how well he did! (Past year he has had a habit of looking up then fallin off like he was on a slip and slide!)
Last night we hit a SEBRA event in Hart MI. My husband got on a bull most guys can't get out of the chute on, then looked up! I think I am going to duct tape his head down before he rides....anyways, the bull score was a 46.5, so if he hadn't looked up he probably could have done pretty well.

I kinda like the SEBRA events, and the rules are very fair...the entry money is more than the other rodeo's we were hitting last summer, but the bulls are not as trashy for the most part, and the pay outs are bigger.
Tom Smith is working hard at growing that organization, and I am thinking he is doing a pretty good job!

Just my 2 cents!

Meg they have been really working on doing things right . Tom and his crew have made some mistakes in the past but have made good on them and learned from them. With advice from jerome and other seasoned cowboys tom and chan are tring to make SEBRA a first class association where no matter where your at on the east coast you can have a large payout bullride to go to weekly , it will take some time but they are trucking along ! Just hope everybody can get along in one association and build the sport and not get greedy!
