Hi everyone! I wanted to let you know about some exciting changes we are making to Buckin' Stock Magazine in 2008.

First, you will notice with the January 2008 issue that BSM is moving to a partial gloss format and increasing the quality of paper stock on the inside of the magazine as well. This will increase the print quality throughout the magazine and the heavier stock should make it easier to keep magazines on hand for reference without them getting worn or torn.

We also plan to relaunch our website early in 2008 with a fresh new look and more information for breeders and industry newcomers.

The biggest change we are making in 2008 is the number of issues we will be producing. Historically, the July, August, November and December issues are always our smallest issues because they hit during the times of year that everyone is busy traveling to events (summer) or inactive due to the lull between finals and breeding season (winter). For this reason, we will be reducing our frequency to 10 issues per year. The magazine will still be monthly, except in the above-mentioned months when we will have two double issues, a July/August "Summer Edition" and a November/December "Winter Edition".

To make sure you're still getting your money's worth for your subscriptions, we will be replacing those two issues with a Herd Sire and Semen Directory to be released in March 2008. This will be a separate publication from the magazine and it will include listings of live breeding and semen available in the bucking bull industry. Free basic listings will be offered, as well as enhanced listings and display ads. It will also include our 2007 aged event statistical information on top bulls, sires and owners from the 2007 season. The book will be all gloss with a heavier cover stock so it will withstand years of use as a reference tool. Every subscriber will receive a complimentary copy of this directory. Additional copies will be available for $10.

We are very excited about these changes and feel they are the best use of our resources to provide the bucking bull industry with the information it needs. We hope you all will be as excited as we are about this new path and support us in this decision as you always have in the past. Thank you for your continued business and we look forward to serving you in 2008!

Angie, you are one hard working gal, how you manage to do what you do month in and month out is truly amazing. If you and Marcia ever get together, look out they just might turn this world around.:omg:

I like the BSM better than any of the other ones that I am subscribed to. Yall do a good job. I get it on a regular basis, and it is more than a results magazine. Keep up the good work.
