Think Nick is right, dont want her getting a horn infection, that could be fatal.

I've fixed at least 100 broken horns over the years on roping cattle. We use 2 -3 rolls of plastaparis (sp?) bandage. Same stuff to cast legs. Take a piece or rebar just shorter than her spread and bend it to the shape of her horns. Lay it on top and criss cross the bandage after soaking it in water. We usually do it within a day or three. But being two week's i'd load her up on antibiotics. Three day's worth of dex would help too with the appetite. I'd make sure she wasn't eating in a feeder that she had to put her head through bars.

You ought to try bull doggin' em after they have had this treatment, it is a bit rough on forearms

Okay for Jeremy' sake before you bulldog her and you know it's healed put her in squeeze chute again. Use a hammer and pound off all the casting. It will make the dogger's happier. If you teamrope their good to rope after about 2 week's.

Now Jeremy, why would you wanna dog one with a little rebar sticking out?

Bannamine would be good to give her too.

Angle grinders work good for the removal, you can also shape up/ or blunt tips while you are there.

When you break your last blade for the saz-zal, the angle grinder will work to tip a few. This item is a must in any serious vet shack! :cigar:

Jeff, I remember bulldoggin them when I was a teenager. I think it was at a highschool rodeo or something. My memory has gotten pretty bad but I can remember it was pretty rough.
