High Tide?

I was just wondering if High Tide is dead or alive? I know he hurt his back which ended his bucking career but then later on some people say he died and I've heard some people lately say hes still alive? I was just curious if anyone knew for certain.

I talk to paradise the other day and High Tide is still alive and can breed a small number of cows a year as long as he doesn't have to travel to far. they said they keep him and his girls in a small grass trap. So if his bulls calves buck, his calves ought to be worth quite abit do to the lack of avilability, jmo.
