Cat Daddy fractured his leg in the short round in Greensboro and will be out for awhile if not indefinitely. Of course this stuff always happens to your best bull. Just thought I would let everyone know about this sad event that happened to a great bull.

So sorry to hear the news about Cat Daddy. He is one Great bucker, love to watch him buck. May God put his great healing hand upon the bull and heal him completely, allowing him to return to bucking for the Glory of God. I know that it doesn't make it easier David, but a breeder and contractor once told me nothing EVER happens to the sorry ones, just the GREAT Ones. Really think Cat Daddy had a shot a Bull of the Year. Your in our thoughts and prayers.
GOD BLESS,

Dusty,
I didn't notice it in the original broadcast, but after reading this, I replayed my DVR recording.... Just before throwing JB, Cat Daddy kicked high, and his left rear hoof momentarily caught between the slats of one of the chute gates.
To David, I am so sorry this happened. Cat Daddy is a bull I've enjoyed watching every time he bucks. Prayers coming from Kansas that even if his bucking career is over, he will recover and live a long happy life in a bull's concept of Utopia (steady supply of willing cows and heifers in his pasture and a belly full of the best feed)....

Wow! Sorry to hear about that.I hope he recovers fully.
If there is ever a Probullstats Hall of Fame, Cat Daddy will be one of the first bulls inducted.
Actually he'll probably be the second black and white muley in.
Great bull.

I sure appreciate all of the support I have received on here. Last update I heard was they were going to cast his leg. Said he should make a full recovery for breeding but will probably never buck again. At least we will get to see some Cat Daddy Jr.'s in the future. Thank you everyone for your support and I do agree as well that he would have given the other candidates for bucking bull of the year a run for their money.

David thanks for the update, all of us love that bull and he sure was going to give them a run for the money for BBOY. Im sorry he will not buck again, but like you said, its great he will beable to breed and have some Jr's and hopefully they will continue in their papas foot steps.

I will sure miss watching him buck. I've alway's liked him. But after watching him in person i realized he was way underrated.
How is he bred? Guessing i'd bet SkatKat out of a bo daughter.

Mr. Simpson, I was looking forward to seeing Cat Daddy at the PBR Finals. I've got a little muley bull calf that looks like Cat Daddy, and every day when I go out to feed him, I tell him that when he grows up I sure hope he bucks like Cat Daddy. I hope Cat Daddy turns out to be a producer for you.
Judy
Hate to hear bout his accident hope he makes a full recovery.
