i have a 550 at work and its a powerhouse, not the best ride in town but it was built to work, i also have a 350 that i haul my bulls with and i really like it. i dont have one with the new diesel in it, i kinda like the 6.0 i hope the new one is as good.

If you have a good supply of funds check out the F650 super truck web site just google the F650 and check it out it is an awsome looking rig.

But it is only $94,000.

we have an 08 f350 , i like it the mileage aint that great but then again this new fuel isnt the best either, it has 4.10 rears, its an automatic and pulls great. i pulled a 32' with 8 big bulls the other day and had plenty of power. i traded in a 02 7.3 l w/ a stage 2 module and this truck is as powerful if not more powerful than my old one. i looked at the dodges too, probably would have bought one, the price was the same, but the interior on the ford was just plain nicer.

The 450's are great but for those of you that like to move at a faster pace than everyone else should know that the 450's govern out at 80mph. I looked at the new chevy's yesterday and they are pretty nice! They come standard with manual transmission push button shifting. I am a ford guy myself but after having 3 fords in the last 5 years all have trouble after 60,000 miles I may take a chance and get a chevy. Someone stole my 06 lariat with my 25' gooseneck along with my 2005 S220 Joystick control bobcat last monday from infront of my house! I got the truck back but was it was wrecked while they were running from the border patrol, they were smuggling illegals back from mexico in it for the 4 days that they had it. I guess everyone has to make a living

Save yourself the trouble and buy a Dodge with the new Allison Transmission.

Buy you a GMC 3/4 ton or 1 ton and add the Ottomind6 from Banks and you wont regret it, one pullin SOB. Get all the add ons intake, outtake, cooler, and the PDA. you will be surprised.

i get 9 - 10 pulling a 24' or 32' stock trailer. my problem is i have a lead foot most of the time and dont really drive too conservative. the 450 might cut out at 80 but mine cuts out around 97-98. do your research, in my opinion and from what i have read: dodge has the best motor, chevy has the best transmission, but ford is just a good all around truck. we have a lariat which is almost like a king ranch and i love it. i was a little concearned about the new motor but i believe its built by international plus, they have a good factory warranty, just in case. i know the 04-07 models were not worth buying b/c of the relibility of the 6.0 motor, but my 02 7.3 ran great without alot of problems.

All the Ford powerstroke motors are International motors, they've been putting them in fords since the begining I think. The Dodge is now available with the same allison transmission that the GMC/Chevy trucks have in them. A Cummins with an Allison Transmission. You can't beat that.

I don't think Allison makes the tranny in the new Dodge's, works the same but not an Allison, 6 speed auto tranny with manual shift, similar to newer Chevy's

I love my 05 Dodge 6-spd manual w/Cummins, you can't beat it:)

Buy a F350 DUALLY i heard the 450s are only getting 8 mile gallon our f350 dually 4x4 gets about 11 and it will pull the axles out of the trailer with NO chip

I read in one of the truck magazines that you can get the allison in the 07 or 08 dodge trucks. I love my 03' 6 sp Cummins too.
