I admit I'm technically challenged..but I can read and follow instructions.

Yesterday evening..I tried to open a video sent to me by e-mail.. First thing that opened was a window which said I needed to update my 'Real Player'..which I tried to do and failed. Then I tried several sites that offered it as a 'free' download..but they want money. Is Real Player no longer free or am I missing something? (No smart alecs need reply:pieface:) What am I doing wrong..???

My wife does these things with something called a codec(sp) you have to change it so that your computer will read the file I guess. We had the same thing just need to find the codec. Go to google and type in codec and see if that helps. If not I will get my wife to tell me and I can rely.
