I just bought a kodak 14 megapixel with hd video last week. I tryed using it over the weekend and it will not hold a charge when trying to video . I am very pleased with the quality of the small amount of video i did get out of the camera but it has a issue with the batteries. I was wondering what kind of camera some others where using to video with. I want something that will produce good clear quality video.
Kris, take the battery pack back, sound as if that is the problem, I have a Canon FS 100 and it runs on a charge over 2 hours, and are great videos

when you first got it did you let the battery go completely dead? I have had people tell me that you have to do that then do a complete charge after that, might try it, if not take the battery back and get a new one!
