I don't have a video but i had an Angus/ Maine cross halter broke show bull that i tried for the heck of it and he flew out of the chute jumped higher then Ive seen in a while, stuck his nose in the ground and spun, i was amazed. After the dummy fell off he just stopped at looked at me, i walked up and put a halter on him and walked him out  after that i give everyone a chance, you never know what you'll find.

When i was younger I was always told that you cant ride papers, so i remember that when I'm looking at a bull, and even my roping horses. but that's just MO

I have two cross bred brahma bulls that buck pretty good. Jimmy Young's Drop Zone came from the same place these two bulls of mine came from.

When we started contracting, all of ours came from the salebarn. We had a fun time bucking though the bulls and finding the keepers.

Here is my favorite, 21 Catfish:

Mike Adams bought this bull, A0 Sgt. Speck (AKA Twilight Zone, when Mike was hauling with Bad Co.) at the Lampasas,Tx Sale barn 1995 or so. Just got 5 straws on the Bailey Kay Auction. He's a producer too! He had two sons sell in the first PBR Finals auction for around 9000 each.

Whitewater is a son of Oscar's velvet.

Yes he is. The story I heard and only the Naccarato's would be able to verify it is that he was being hauled on a circuit with a trailer load of bulls and were told he wasn't any good so they took him to the sale barn were he was then bought by Cotton Rosser if I am not mistaken. That is what I heard. And thanks about our little brahmer, He is pretty cool and getting big.

I heard this same story myself, but was later told there was more to it..... Alex had a guy bucking some bulls for him. He told Alex that he could not keep him from jumping fences and that he needed to go to the salebarn. He was hauled to the Salebarn and Cotton Rosser got a call telling him that the bull was there. A little fishy deal from what I was told, but who knows ???

The story I heard also went like that, in fact the way it came up was in a conversation about having to be careful about who you trust in this industry at times.

every bull has a story, just as every rose has a thorn.... bottom line is that in order to turn"m into dough/lighten the feed bill, you take"m to the sale where weight trumps everything
