I know that I posted this sometime back, but just wanted to remind everyone about the event.
Open Bull Team Event Rules
4C’s Bucking Bulls
1. Five bulls per team.
2. $3,500 entry fee.
3. 15 teams max per event.
4. Ten teams or over will be two day event (bulls buck twice and pays rounds).
5. 2 PBR short-round and/or NFR bulls per team.
6. Registration does not apply.
7. Bulls may be any age to compete.
8. Unlimited owners/partners per team.
9. Entries will be taken on first-come, first-serve.
10. $100/bull withheld for production costs.
11. Bulls will be judged by four judges. Scores will be added together to determine bull score (with 100 being maximum score for bull). All five bull scores will be added together for final team score (with 500 being maximum score for a one-day event or rounds; 1000 would be maximum score for two-day event).
12. BRING YOUR OWN RIDER –
a. Must bring 3 riders per team minimum
b. 2 Bulls/Rider maximum
c. Additional rider pot optional for riders
13. No re-bucks will be awarded for rider non-performance.
14. Payout as follows:
a. 3- 4 teams = 1 Average hole paid
b. 5 – 9 teams = 2 Average holes paid
c. 10 – 14 teams = 3 Average/2 Round holes paid
d. 15 teams = 4 Average/3 Round holes paid
15. Splits as follows:
a. 4 splits – 40%, 30%, 20%, 10%
b. 3 splits – 50%, 30%, 20%
c. 2 splits – 70%, 30%
PAYOUT EXAMPLE:
15 TEAMS = $52,500
Production costs = $7,500
Payout total = $45,000
Average = $31,500
Rounds = $13,500 or $6,750 per round
Each Round pay:
1st = $3,375
2nd = $2,025
3rd = $1,350
Average pay:
1st = $12,600
2nd = $9,450
3rd = $6,300
4th = $3,500
10 TEAMS = $35,000
Production costs = $5,000
Payout total = $30,000
Average = $21,000
Rounds = $9,000 or $4,500 per round
Round pay:
1st = $3,150
2nd = $1,350
Average pay:
1st = $10,500
2nd = $6,300
3rd = $4,200
5 TEAMS = $17,500
Productions costs = $2,500
Payout total = $15,000
Average pay:
1st = $9,000
2nd = $6,000
