What age do you buck them?
What weight dummy do you use?
How long do you leave the dummy on before you release it?
After you buck once, how long do you wait to buck again?
and anything else you can add to this.
Thanks.

We are going to buck our yearlings this spring(when weather allows), and then again in the fall. I only have a Robo Rider, for a dummy, I was wanting something a little smaller, but it will have to do. I only plan on leaving it for a few seconds, just to see what they got. I am new at raising stock, but I was wanting to see if m cows and sires were putting something in their calves, or if I need to make changes to m program

What age do you buck them? 15-16 mo
What weight dummy do you use? Little Blue 14 lbs
How long do you leave the dummy on before you release it? when they make a strong move, or one round or so.
After you buck once, how long do you wait to buck again? If they looked real good at 15-16 mo, I leave them alone until they are 2. If they didn't show much at 15-16 I wait a month or so and give them another chance. If they don't show anything that second time, they are at the sale barn.
