If anyone around the sw missouri area has any to kill we are looking for some around this time of the year salebarns slow down and we have to look else where for bulls. When we take them will guarantee %100 that they will die and you will not see them anywhere else.

With the price of fuel it takes the profit out of them to go that far out the way cattle prices have dropped even on the rail there only paying .85 to .90 for bulls and down in the 60s for cows.

How much weight can you get on a potload? If they are still paying .85 and you can get 40k on a pot, buying at .60 you are left with $10k. I know you still have to pay fuel and upkeep, but even if you have to haul them 6-700 miles there is still plenty left. They sell plenty in S. Texas where I am today.

That is .85 on the rail so if you take a 1200 bull and he only rails for 550 to 600 pds .That is only467.50 to 510.00 dollars and you have to give .35 to .50 on the hoof that is 420.00 to 600and you can only get 30 bulls on a pot that is only around 1500.00 to 2000.00 that is before fuel or anything that is how bad the market is .Just 3 mo ago i was getting a 1.20 to a 1.32 on the rail.
