I sold a bull last year that I bought out of the auction mart and I got to watch him Saturday at Calgary with Justin Volz (Captain Black). I'm just wondering if you can buy a bull for meat prices, buck him half a dozen times and then sell him for a profit three months later why do I get up in the middle of the night in March to check cows? I know everyone has that pride thing when they raise a good one but I was pretty happy to see one that I owned for a short period make it. I guess we must raise them just to see the new calves in the morning and to get our excersize trying to figure out if it's a bull or heifer. Just my thought for the day.

That is a pretty neat little bull, but you would have to buy alot of canner bulls to find another like him. Thats why we breed them.

See you in Oyen !

Bought 120 of Lousiana swamp bulls in 1997, 10 were keepers, 1 went bigtime, %'s aren't nearly as good buying as raising em'!!! You're lucky to have had the success of a salebarn bull going bigtime so quick! Might need to buy a lottery ticket!!!
