Our new herd sire, Black Velvet. He is an Oscar's Velvet son out of the dam to Satan's Own. Thanks to Steve and Julie Ravenscroft for giving us the opportunity to purchase him, and for all their help.

Ed, He is a coming 2 year old.

Marlin, LOL he needs to be tipped! Not sure Santa will get me the right stuff! LOL

It's funny you say that. I got a nice set a few years ago from Santa. MooreMaker makes a good one.

Lance, Maybe I need to tell Santa exactly what I want. lol He does buck, he's got great kick but won't make a futurity bull. We're gonna let him grow up and put a rider on him in a couple years.

That's the deal with that OV blood. Our Grandson of OV, #111 W.I. was the same way, look at him now at 3 1/2 years old. www.bloydbuckingbulls.com/111nov08.wmv He's the same way every time. I hope to be able to take him somewhere in 09 so he can be tested.

He looks good Lance. My plans are to wait until he close to 4 and put a rider on him. The OV blood seems to be better with riders.

Congrats! The Ravenscrofts are Great people to do buisness with. We purchased a young bull from them and you could not ask for better folks to deal with. They have really made a name for themselves in this Industry.

Steve and Julie are great people to work with. Both Ravenscroft's and Shippy's have great programs and have helped me a ton.
