Troubador only has five outs as well on the BFTS in 2008, and I believe Voodoo Child only has four if I'm not mistaken. Those two are the best, it's just a matter of the number of outs needed to get votes. I'd definitely throw in Copperhead Slinger as well.
As for the other two, it's anyone's guess. Bones had a really bad out in his first out of the year (under 40 I believe), and that may keep him from being in the top five.
Ricky Bobby and Say I Won't Gunner would probably get my vote right now, but there are other solid bulls like All In, Hot Stuff, etc.
Troubador
Voodoo Child
Copperhead Slinger
Ricky Bobby
Say I Won't Gunner
There, I'll go with that this week. :)

I hope Troubadour and Voodoo Child clean house in both PBR and PRCA.

Sometimes I think it`s more about the owners name than the bulls performance.
That Chance bull looks real good, but I don`t think he even be considered. I would like to know where Cochise was hiding this year.
I would like to know why a consistent 42-43.+ bull can`t get into the short round ? Meaning Wrangler Magic ? Maybe they need to make the short round 20 bulls instead of 15 ?
My vote would be for Copperhead Slinger then Troubadour.
Just my unprofessional opinion, Michael

Cochise has had 9 outs in the PRCA & CBR with an avg. marking of 23.28, he hasn't been warmed up since the NFR!!!

That sucks big time. I had him #2 on my PBR Bull of the Year Predictions before the season started. I was really looking forward to seeing some of the PBR's best riders attempt to ride him. He is an awesome animal!

I agree that Chance is a neat flashy bull. He is nowhere near bboty caliber though. His action looks cool but his degree of difficulty is zero. He makes guys want to ride bulls for a living

Bad trip?? Shane had his hand run all the way down there, Gangster felt him and went the other way. Every bull, I admit, was a scored a point or two off, but I sure wouldn't call that a bad trip. Still threw him off in 2 seconds. I like them smart bulls that will change it up.

I will throw Cat Man Do in instead of Bones! Every cowboy wants on that bull and he is consistent.
Even though It's a personal thing with Spit Fire, I don't know why more people aren't mentioning him. You ask any of those riders if they want to pick that bull! He made Justin McBride and Marchi look silly.

Billionaire-4 outs BFTS
Troubadour-4 outs BFTS
White Magic-5 outs BFTS
All In-6 outs BFTS
California Dreamin-8 outs BFTS
Scene of the Crash- 9 outs BFTS
Are these enough outs to get a bull nominated? Also, these bulls aren't getting nearly as many outs in general as they have in the past. Why is that? Are they past their primes? Are contractors getting too conservative with their bulls? Are bulls getting too expensive?

I think the bull teams might have something to do with it.. those bulls most of them are on a team.. they go where the teams are scheduled.. I think, I could be wrong.
Kody.. you just ride so good you make it look easy... dont start the flopping, not now at this point in the season:)

It's because there are more BFTS caliber bulls available right now than there have been since Moses went up the mountain.
Every bull out there right now has fewer out opportunities than he did last year, which was fewer than the year before.
Kody, if you can be 90 on a zero difficulty bull, I may crack back out as soon as I recover from my basketball knee injury and lose 30 pounds. Let me know...:hurray:

Yeah, that's the pattern I've seen. It stinks a little for the fans because the days of seeing our favorite bulls 10 or 15 times each season on the BFTS seem to be a thing of the past. On the other hand, however, it's probably a good thing for the animal athletes. And in the end, that's really what matters the most. I just always enjoyed seeing bulls like Western Wishes rack up 100+ outs on the BFTS.
Zip, if you can tell us, what are your top five for PBR Bull of the Year right now?

how many outs has cat man do had this year? everyone wants him because if they ride him, your gonna be in the 90's. It's kinda odd to only have seen his name once in this thread. maybe its just me.. i like the bull.
Bulls-N-Boars
09-25-2008, 09:30 AM
Didnt the PBR stop paying mileage for hauling the bulls to the event. That is the big reason they quit getting so many outs. Those guys arent going to haul them coast to coast for nothing. Just like last weekend in florida there was 20 something bulls with there debuts.
Since Jacob's Pet got hurt I am not as interested in who wins. But it will be between Voodo and Troubador.
