Congrats to Ty on #S513 Major Deal. I would like to see the video if you have it Ty. That #111 cow had another nice bull calf this yr. for us. Hope he bucks like his brother. ;)

Thanks for the great bull but sorry no video. I've had riders on him the last couple of months so I was a little worried going back to the dummy but he did fine. In the gate to the left and faded. Thanks again to the Hadleys for a great event. See you all at the finals in Loveland........

Why are they going to limit the Loveland event to those that attended those two events? Cool and all to have a finals, but after two events? I know several of us were planning on going to Loveland with 3yr olds if they put riders on them, and taking a few two's just to say we did! Well anyway glad to see some in the area!

Was it advertised anywhere but on here?

I'd also like to go to Loveland. It's not feasable to drive all the way to Rifle or whereever with that small of a group of bull's with such a low fee and added pot. I'd go if they were closer. I have a group of yearling's i'd like to put some miles on to test them.

1000 added per event this weekend in Rifle and yes they said you had to go to one of the two to qualify for the finals.

Rifle is a lot closer than Texas or Oklahoma!

Granger how far is rifle from cheyenne? Just guessing i was thinking rifle would be 6-7 hours from here. How far off am i ? What are you hauling down there?

I can be to Texas in 8 hours. And Okieville is a little bit closer. I've gone there because of more added $$ and more entries so again more $$ and so qualify for the finals because of more $$ and honestly i was trying to put Snotslinger up against the toughest competition i could find.

How many yearling's have they got entered in rifle? And what's the fee's?

I actually just called the Co state vet office to inquire about the regulations to bring my yearling's into the state. And there's not enough time to get a TB and Brucelossis test done. I was gonna make an attempt. Good luck.

Jeff, I am not taking anything down there. I sell most of my stuff when weaned. I just don't have the room to keep bulls around for long (wish I did). Mapquest shows that Cheyenne to Rifle is about 4 1/2 hours, so it is probably around 5 1/2 - 6 for you from Hawk Springs. There wasn't a whole lot of time to advertise, since these events were put together quickly.
Hopefully Mike can get some more interest & more people coming to these deals & make them work. I know he is going to try to put on more next year. There are a lot of breeders around this part of the country & it is a good opportunity for them to have a place to go (that is fairly close) to take there bulls to. Everybody's "got a rank sucker, but have no place to take him". Just get tired of hearing people ***** & moan..... sometimes I think they use this as an excuse NOT to buck their stuff. This is a great opportunity for the large & small breeders in this area, rather they have registered or unregistered bulls. Good luck on Snotslinger, got a good one there!

When will the finals be? You guys should think about opening up the finals to everyone. There are a few guys around here that would bring some. (Myself included) We have been away at bullridings and haven't had a chance to go to any events. It might get some more money in the pot if everyone could come. Just a thought anyways...

Thanks, Kody for the support for opening the finals! I just had the pleasure to talk with Mike. He is going to open up the three year old division at Loveland. Which I think is a great move as it should make it a bigger field. I do believe it is bring your own rider and they get on your own bull. Thanks Mike and I hope alot of guys will bring there three's now!
