1st Bull #50 Superman(Nelson and Son's) 86.5pts $1680
2nd Bull #743 Cocaine(Creekbend Bucking Bulls) $700
3rd Bull #409 Priority(Creekbend Bucking Bulls) $420
In the bullriding we had 24 entry's with $300 added, they only rode 2 bulls so 1st paid $750 and 2nd paid $500.
We did get started late, and had some bulls of mine jump out of the pasture while getting them up. On is still missing at this time but knowing him he will either turn up in my neighbor's cow pasture or mine by morning. But I still thought it was a pretty good bullriding for my first one. By know means perfect but it was a god learning experience. You sure find out that there are alot of things you'd should have done diffrently. But the crowd was ok, I did not expect hardly anyone here to watch, due to the short amount of time putting it together. But any part of it that was good was not my doing, I really appreciate all the guys that brought the classic bulls. It was a good pen of bulls dispite any of the problems we had during the show. Creekbend Bucking Bulls(Shawn Thorsell and Denny) Trimble Cattle Co.(Mike Kathy and Amanda)SoggyHill Cattle Co.(Shrimp) Chase Gabriel and His Dad, Nelson and Son's(Joe and Travis Nelson) Virginia Creek farms(Brian Fischer), Double J Bulls (Justin Cornwell and Jill) it would not have been a show at all without the support of these guys. By the way Shrimps Fed Ex bull was jam up. I also had the best 3 guys in the backpen a guy could want. Zach Burch and Shawn Walters were outstanding bullfighters and I would hire them again. The announcer was good and did the best he could keeping the show going during all the slow times. And also my family for supporting me no matter what. Also the Fry family from Crawfordsville Indiana, they gave a $100 to my wife after they paid to get in to be put in the pot for the bullriders, which I thought was a huge gesture from someone I don't really know. Thanks to Jason and Megan Vondeylon for coming down from Michigan to judge and for running the 50/50. We were able to raise some money for the ladyhere in town who has cancer so I am thankfull for that. I lost quite a bit of money doing this(which I expected before hand) but I am already planning for the next and how to make it better. I still say there is not much better than bucking bulls in your backyard on a nice day surronded by friends and family. Life is good. Thanks again to all involved. I know I left off some names that I did not want to but I am dead tired right now.

Ray, thanks for having us and all the work that you did to provide a classic for us "yankees". It was a great time and I was very impressed with the caliber of bulls that were entered. Thanks again and we'll see you at the next one,
Shawn:cheers:

Great set of bulls out there in Ray's backyard. Hard to believe the major changes that have gone on in this part of the country over the past few years.
